What is the calorific value of bio fuel diesel fuel?
Biomaterials, also known as biodiesel, are produced by unprocessed or used vegetable oils and animal fats through different chemical reactions. They are considered as environmentally friendly biofuels. This biofuel can be used as a diesel fuel. So the heat value is basically the same as the diesel.
In general, diesel is 42.6MJ/kg, and the thermal value of biodiesel will float between 33-41MJ/KG, with more water and aromatic hydrocarbons.
High calorific value
Solid or liquid heating unit is kcal / kg (kcal/kg), kJ / kg (KJ/kg) or MCAL / kg (Mcal/kg), Seoul MJ / kg (MJ/kg); heating unit of fuel gas is kcal / standard cubic meters (kcal/Nm3), kJ / Nm3 (KJ/Nm3) or MCAL / standard cubic meters (Mcal/Nm3), megajoule / standard cubic meters (MJ/Nm3). The calorific value of fuel has two kinds of high calorific value and low calorific value. The high calorific value refers to the total heat released when the fuel is completely burned, that is, the amount of heat generated when the water vapor in the combustion product is condensed into water, also known as hair heat.
Low calorific value
Low calorific value refers to the total combustion of fuel, the amount of heat in the gas in its combustion products, also known as net heat. The difference between the high calorific value and the low calorific value is that the water in the fuel combustion product is liquid or gaseous, and the water is liquid, which is the high calorific value of the liquid, and the gaseous state of the fuel is the low calorific value. The low calorific value is equal to the condensation heat that deducts the water vapor from the high calorific value. Most of the fuels are used for combustion. The exhaust gas temperature of all kinds of furnaces exceeds the condensing temperature of water vapor. It is impossible to release the condensation heat of steam. Therefore, the low calorific value of fuel is generally used as the basis of calculation in energy utilization. The choice of countries is different. Japan and North America used to use high calorific values, while China, the former Soviet Union, Germany and the organization for economic cooperation and development converted them to low calorific values. In some countries, two calorific values were adopted. The difference between the high and low calorific values of coal and oil is about 5%, and the gas and gas are about 10%.
